I was unsure about ME but World Pulse gives me strength!

The day nominations started for the Globant Women Awards I was seeing the great stories coming from across the world in the news feed on an almost daily basis. This was the time I felt I could be one of them but then I realized that I won't be able to make it. The reason was pretty obvious. Pakistan; a South Asian country that is not on the list previously and participating for the first time. Will my name get selected? Will I be able to reach the finalists even regional finalists? Whether my accomplishments are enough to represent my country on the global level?
With all the uncertainties I submitted the form and surprisingly after two days when I logged in to the Globant Women Awards website my name was in the nomination lists from Pakistan. I took a long deep breath and took a screenshot of my nomination with great pride. Now, comes the real challenge where I need a great number of votes to get into the regional finalists.
I have posted my nomination on my social media handlers and started the campaign to get maximum votes. All of a sudden I realize I have a very strong digital network of almost 80k members why I am not sharing this with my sisters. It goes like a bang. I posted in my world pulse WhatsApp group and on my world pulse profile and received love, blessings, appreciation, and above all great number of votes.
Thank you world pulse sisters for being my strength. I am now in the Regional Finalists. Hip Hip Hurray! Cheers for the sisterhood.
