Women Developers session with IBM Pakistan

I organized a session in collaboration with IBM and Jinnah University for Women for the celebration of International Women's Day in the month of March. This year the theme was #Pressforprogress and IBM believe that this is the right time to get connected with more women entrepreneurs in technology and share the stories of the highlighted one.

The celebration started with women leads at IBM who does not only share their experiences but also inspires these young women startups and developers to pursue their goals and dreams. Ms. Adeela Sahar Data Base Administrator-IBM shared her inspiring story with the girls. Ms. Anum Shakeel Project Head-Momentum also shared her struggles and obstacles which women leaders face in the current corporate scenarios Afterward, IBM's cloud evangelist Ms. Qamar Un Nisa moved them around IBM Cloud and gave them the extensive knowledge of its capabilities and its possible integration with their existing projects/products. Depending on the need the startups IBM Cloud GEP gave them credits varying from $12000-120000 for a year.

Also, the most exciting part of this session was IBM announced to sign a memorandum of understanding with Jinnah University Incubation Centre and agreed to mentor the young developers and women startups.
