Why I Joined This Group!

We live in a patriachial society with very many dysfunctional families. It is such a repressive and oppressive society, especially for women and girls. Oftentimes, these inhuman actions are hidden under the guise of custom, tradition and religion, thus making it difficult for the victims (women and girls) to resist.

I see World Pulse as a safe platform for women to unite, gain confidence and support from one another and influence policies that affect their wellbeing. The culture of silence must stop. We can change the tide of events in our favour; yes we can end all forms of gender based violence and be part ofglobal change-makers.

This is one major reason why I joined this group.
