Arda's Personal Apology and Thanks to You

To all the inspiring women that make WORLD PULSE what it is,

I have been thinking about my interview for the past few weeks and have managed to put something together! I will post it within the coming hours, but before I do that, I just HAD to send this message as a personal apology to you.

The truth is, a few weeks ago, I had been feeling so far-back from worldpulse that one day, I found myself considering the disaster: walking out. I thought this would be my only option. I thought I put myself in such a bad situation (no internet connection, too drained with work, unable to catch up with emails and messages, even assignments) that the punishment of walking away was something I deserved! It was so sad to think I'd be walking away from such a horizon; a world that I genuinely connected with. I was starting to think I had no other option...

That same day, I received my first call from my mentor.

The outcome of that call was so intense (I'll possibly share it with you someday,) but the reason I am sending you this message right now is to tell you that after that call, I've been reading through some of your assignments, some of your reflections, your thoughts, fears, even some of your personal messages to me; most of which I had not been able to be a part of! I feel like it had been a loss, for your voices are so rich and inspiring; your words so uplifting and encouraging. I owe you my personal apology for not letting you hear my voice. I can finally hear my voice coming back, and I feel happy to hear the rhythm that is so close to yours!

I thank you for not giving up on me when I almost gave up on myself.

Arda
