Precious Memories One Year On.

People always love to say throw back so or so day.

Sometimes I wonder why. But today, I understood as I had my own #ThrowBackMoment.

I don't know if the excitement of that meet gave me the presence of mind to write about it here  last time but then,  30th Oct 2019 remains a date filled with precious memories.

It was the day I touched down in Nigeria for the first time.

It was the day I got to feel that love that has been so strong and visible online.

It was the day I got to meet the Queen of Trash and felt the Treasure of her warm, comforting embrace.

The day I got to feel the tangible proof of the online love to be just as real.

I couldn't make it to Ibasa, so she made the time and came all the way with her husband to welcome me to Nigeria.

Today, our two countries bleed. Yet today, our memories are so precious and special that I couldn't help writing something about that moment which will always remain engraved in my heart.

And to crown it all, she brought me a special treasure gift which I am wearing today. The warmth from this coat of love in this chilly Yaounde Morning is reminding me of the warm embrace I received one year ago from the queen of hearts herself.

Thank you so much dear Sis Tosin. The love you have shown and continue to show will always remain special in my heart.

I pray my next trip to Nigeria will see me in your queendom in Ibasa where we would have a few quality days together.

Love you plenty ❤ ❤
