SPIRIT AWARD NOMINATIONS: ENCOURAGER

A lot of the time, when we face insurmontable challenges, we just want to crawl somewhere and sleep away from the prying eyes of the world. We wallow in self pity and ask a lot of why me questions.

This is not the case with Veronica. She's seeking ways to thrive in a difficult and hostile environment to herself and others. As a person with disability, I know what it feels like to be sometimes discarded like you amount to nothing by the society.

Veronica's work with empowering women with disabilities while facing the same challenges is laudable and every encouraging and because of this, I would like to also nominate her for the spirit awards. Lifting up women and helping them to be the best versions of themselves is one of the tenets of World Pulse and Veronica does that admirably.
