I grew up moving a lot. Was lucky enough to be a part of many different cultures as a kid. My mother worked for USAID, and we moved every two years in developing countries: Singapore, Indonesia, The Gambia, Burkina Faso, Ecuador, Jamaica and Bangladesh. I am extremely passionate about empowering women and girls. I have a passion for youth and education. I also am deeply inspired by diversity, equity and inclusion work and I want to learn more and be a bigger part of this movement. Currently I work as a Senior Development and Advocacy Associate at Ten Strands - a non-profit dedicated to achieving environmental literacy for all of California's 6.2 million public school children.
My vision for the future is a world in which women are equally represented at every seat at every table. I also vision a world in which we respect and care for our planet earth.
