I have started a great journey,i will not look back

mmm--so much to say.I am Leah Auma,a Kenyan woman.I will never forget the day i was dying,when my CD4 count was three,i will never forget the kind of treatment i recieved the first time i visted a Voluntary Counselling and Testing Centre, VCT,where i thought i was going to get hope or refuge.I have since vowed to become a VCT Councellor should i find a way.

I am the founder and chair a Community Based Organization,D'Adesky Jacolo Women Organization,working with HIV/AIDS and other women's and children's issues.I started doing this work before i learnt of my positive status,but now i volunteer for it full time.

I am here with my family,and life continues.I know i have started a resourceful journey with PulseWire.Bravo to my husband,Bob,too,who has always been by my side,even when i weighed 63 kgs.Now i am my normal 95.

I have so much to say!
