TECHNOVATION GIRLS - JUDGE

I took part as a judge in the just concluded #Technovation Girls 2020. I learnt about it through World Pulse, I am very grateful as it was an opprtunity to learn so much from the young up coming girls. Technovation Girls equips young women (ages 10-18) to become tech entrepreneurs and leaders. With the support of volunteer mentors, girls work in teams to code mobile apps that address real-world problems.

As a judge I went through 33 very engaging, innovative and creative pieces of work. The girls aged between 11 to 19 years developed very powerful Apps to solve very critical global issues like Apps on Mental Health, Autism, Environmental Reclamation, Fund Raising for the Needy, Dementia Patients, Employment and Volunteer, Organ and Tissue Donations,  Children away from parents, among others. Definitely this is a new breed of women; Trailblazers. Change that matters. Kudos to all the girls who participated in this!!!!
