Being inspired and motivated by World Pulse

Reading other people’s story on World Pulse has inspired me greatly. Thank you very much for all the amazing ladies for sharing your personal striking stories. I have come to learn from World pulse that networking skills are very important tools to climb the ladder of success; also these skills can be learned and practiced. In today’s world, it is realized that most women feel uncomfortable with networking and promoting themselves. This is so because the African woman has been relegated to the background and branded with the ideology that their place is in bearing children and taking care of the house. This has caused many women to lose their voices in society. Learning and practicing networking skills has helped me to step out of my comfort zone and propel myself to do great things and beyond.

World Pulse was introduced to me by Mme Ngassa Sophie, may God continue to bless her for introducing me to this wonderful platform. At first I thought it was just a common forum or a community of women. I just wanted to belong but I came to realize that it was not all about belonging. I am proud to say am very fortunate to be part of great minds. How impacting to be part of a group of women lifting each other, financially, morally and spiritually. I simply LOVE World Pulse so dearly.

One of the greatest challenges I faced in life was is self-doubt. An entrepreneur’s life is not enviable, at least in the beginning. It’s extremely easy to get discouraged when something goes wrong or when you’re not growing as fast as you’d like. Self-doubt creeps in, and you feel like giving up. Also I faced problem of strapped budget. Even though cash flow is fine, it seems I never have enough in my budget to market my company to its full potential.

My story will be different now that I joined a community of women supporting and lifting others. I am very excited to share on this platform. Hence forth I refuse self-doubt, refuse to run low on confidence and refuse to be average because I want to achieve my goals and explore my potentials to the fullest.
