Nous venons de faire une journee de restitution avec 320 femmes a kabare territoire , nous avons commencer de 9h00 jusqu'a 15hoo, la coordinatrice akonkwa et son staff ont realiser ces activites , apres les vetements ont ete offert aussi, les cadeaux des habits aux femmes vulnerables veuves et orphelins, handicapees.
pour aider cette femme du milieu rural.
Dans les milieux traditionnels du Bushi la femme ne peut pas assister a des réunions selon la coutume, ni sur la gestion de la communauté. or la femme rurale de kabare joue un rôle très important dans la sécurité alimentaire de Bukavu en offrant des produits agricoles comme le manioc, choux, patate , mais , légume , banane ... mais cette femme se heurte a un sérieux problème de manque d'information.
La coordinatrice nationale d'Osodi, Madame Akonkwa Cheshe,a informer la charte de nation unis de R/S 1325 et 1820, elle a demande au chef du village de kabare d'être le porte paroles des femmes rurales auprès du Roi , Madame Akonkwa a aussi parle du droit de la femme a la sante, l'éducation ,prévention contre les infections sexuelles transmissibles deVIH/SIDA.
Les femmes rurales de kabare , s'exprimer en montrant leurs souffrance, concernant l'amélioration de leur habitat l'accès aux micro crédit ,l'eau potable, l'éducation, le travail,

Resolution 1325 and 1820—Restoration Program for 320 Rural Women in Kabare by Osodi on December 7th

We just did a restoration day with 320 women in Kabare territory. We started at nine o’clock and went until three o’clock. Akonkwa, the coordinator, and her staff led the activities. Clothes were offered, and presents of clothes were given to vulnerable women, widows, orphans, and people who are handicapped. All of this was done in order to help rural women.

In the traditional environment of Bushi, women cannot attend meetings according to custom and community laws. The rural woman plays an important role in the food security of Bukavu by offering these products such as manioc, cabbage, potatoes, corn, vegetables, and bananas, etc. But this same woman, who contributes so much to her community, comes up against a serious problem—the lack of information.

The national coordinator for Osodi, Madame Akonkwa Cheshe, informed the United Nations charter of resolution 1325 and 1820. She asked the village head of Kabare to be the spokeswoman for rural women. She also spoke of women’s rights with regards to health, education, prevention of STIs and HIV/AIDS.

The rural women of Kabare express themselves by showing their suffering, as they hope for improved shelter, better access to micro-credit loans, clean drinking water, education, and work.
