This tree blooming with flowers was a dead stub ,and we were adviced to tnlhrow it away and destroy the roots, lest termites infect our house .
I took it as a personal challenge ,as inspired by my son when he was less than three.
He picked up an almost dead plant from the supermarket and told me ,"Ma this plant needs some love, can we grow it to life'
And similarly ,I have talked my sorrows and my happiness with this tree and watched it grow.
I prefer it to be a She,as she listens patiently without judgement.
And since the last few days, since Spring started She is overflowing with flowers and the branches hug me and donot let mego
once I stand near the branches .
The termite infested creature is now a symbol of pure white love .
Believe in the power of love and you will see it come true .
Hello Basudha,
I love your deep and nourishing connection you have with this tree and its beautiful blooms. It demonstrates a love that gives back, a love that multiplies. Your son's insight into life is true and mature for one so young. You must be a good teacher;)
Blessings to you on all your loves, as you nurture them and they nurture you back.
P.S. I talk to trees too.
Thank you Nini .I too have found that talking to trees is wonderfully healing particularly fruit or flowering trees ..
And the love you give comes back to you! I’m glad she is hugging you back. May you also overflow. Very powerful imagery, Basudha, thanks for sharing.
Thank you Isata .More than anyone can imagine .I feel safe in her arms .
Hello, Basudha,
Wow! I love how you spoke life and showed love to a dying plant, and witnessed it blossom at its best! Amazing! And this is how powerful words of love is, it revives nature. Imagine what words of love can do to a dying soul? This is why it's important we use kind words to everyone because we don't know who is dying inside.
Great job on nurturing this plant, dear! Thank you for inspiring us with your story. :)
Yes Karen .If just a little bit of love could transform a plant ,think what it does to humans ...
It reinstates everything I believe in .
Hi sis, we are connected to nature in amazing ways. I believe that your wonderful son, said what he said because he receives such amazing love from his beautiful mom. Words are powerful. Love allows us to truly bloom with life and it is the same with plants. I talk to my plants :) Sending love and blessings to you, your son and your beautiful plant. :)
Oh dear Basudha, that's an inspiring story. Very brief but full of positive lessons. I think you can write children's stories. I am in awe on how you put those thoughts together.
A little love goes a long way. But nurturing that plant is big love.
Love you.
