A big shout out for Scouts Club UMT ( Pakistan)- fighting COVID 19 disparities - Served free food to almost 1000+ Needy families!

On March 28, 2020, I received an authorization letter from the Scouts Club UMT which has declared the emergency of Covid 19 in Pakistan and asked to join them as their organisational ambassador. It was both honor and excitement for me to work with an organisation which is totally serving the humanity. They are the change leaders whom are always ready to step into the danger and challenges. They are remarkable. I said to the president of organisation (Mr. Fahdad) : it will not me the super hero for working into your organisation rather these are you people whom have been doing humanitarian cause in such a death calling pandemic.\" Therefore, today, being an ambassador of the Scouts club UMT, I'm going to narrate what work they have been doing during this pandemic and why i'm proud to be part of this organisation; 

• Introduction of the Scouts Club UMT

Mr. Muhammad Fahad ( current president) of the Scouts Club UMT founded this organisation on 7 April, 2017 with a mission- As scouts, we seek to create a positive and stimulating environment for our members. The danger of youth being misled in to harmful or unfruitful activities is always present. So the aim of this club is to motivate and engage our youth in healthy, helpful and productive activities instead, that don't only benefit other people, but also helps us become spiritually strong yet humble individuals. We would help you cultivate the core skills needed to become and remain a good human and a responsible citizen: sensory awareness, survival skills, and thinking process.

Be the person you never had for yourself.

Be a savior for someone.\" 

• What Scouts club UMT doing during this pandemic? 

\" It is a very difficult time for everyone, but the best we can do is just stay at home. We should support each other and despite physical separation, we should not forget about other ways of contact which, as never before, should be used at that time. We would also like to thank you for your cooperation: - scouts from Brufut Scout Unit - Teams from Gambia - scouts from Samurai Clan - teams from Honduras - Boy scouts from Sampaguita High School Scouts - teams from the Philippines Thank you very much for your help! Thanks to you we were able to show that we can support each other even at a distance.\"  

Scouts Club UMT jumped into the crisis of covid 19 like a fearless lion and took an oath to serve the people in any ways. We all know that this pandemic has globally struck our economies, business and every kind of work we have been doing normally before this pandemic. None has remained  normal now. It has affected every class of people either high class or lower income class people. One of the worst thing happened, that is, globally countries decided to regulate prolonged shut down in their nations. In fact, it was the only option to do so. Hence, the lower income class people has badly affected with this shut down- that is the daily wagers people. Scouts Club in collaboration with Al Ajam Group, Ideas-9, Payaam, Social Welfare Society, Women's and Children's Health Club, Spread the awareness about Corona virus and distributed free (food) Rashan among 70 families in the first phase. They patted the needy ones and said : \" We are trying our best to provide free (food) Rashan to as many underprivileged locals as possible during this period of terror and chaos in the country.\" 

By now, it's highly privileged to say that, Scouts Club UMT has  served 1000+ needy families. This is how Scouts club UMT became wonderful heroes and proved that we can unite together in difficult times. 

I being the ambassador of Scouts club UMT leave this message for all of you ; 

\" We all know that this pandemic has struck the economy down, globally. The most  vulnerable people are the low income class people- whom are daily wagers. This is very difficulty time for them to even survive this prolonged lock down. They are not enough able to stand this poverty. Let us join hand together and support them. Never sleep with your food eaten as if the people outside are awake with hunger.  Don't fall yourselves into disparities during this pandemic rather rise and unite like Scouts club UMT. I extend my request from national to International level that do support Scouts club UMT beyond borders and let us share this brotherhood. \"
