Peace Within
Self evaluation

How to acquire the peace of mind?

Be it name, fame, degrees, certificates, money, power, ego, none of these can bring you peace of mind in this digital era where we are spending more than our necessary time using various gadgets.

Peace of mind can be acquired only by the process of consistent self efforts and selfevaluation by an individual.

To find this you have to stop working like a machine 24*7 and you have to start living. If you have personal or emotional problems, make timely decision about them but do not let these keep consuming you inside day by day.

Instead take an educated and calculated decision towards attainment of  mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.

Your feelings and emotions must be wisely directed and they should motivate you to work towards the achievement of your success and peace of mind.

"Too much driving ambition is like a run- away- horse which can drop you and injure you badly."

Set your targets within the boundaries of your capabilities and don't take unnecessary stress.

Take life easy and let your body operate at the speed it is supposed to and not like a robot all all day long.Take  time to relax your body, mind and soul.

Don't overthink about those problems of life which are yet to come.Try to combat them wisely  and positively whether they are caused by people or circumstances.

As rightly written by someone that "Peace doesn't mean to be in a place where there is no noise ,trouble or hard work.It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart".

As Rumi (  a Persian poet and an Islamic scholar) rightly says:-

"Try not to resist the changes that come your way,and don't worry that your life is turning upside down, how do you know that the side you are used to is better than the one to come?"

Slowdown, stop a while, take a good look around, I'm sure you will find something to be grateful for.

Take a deep breath,be hopeful for what lies ahead, live in the present.

Have a blessed life ahead.

Bhat,
I am happy to hear that you often quote him in your writing. I also quoted him at the start of each chapter in my book, "Love Is The Answer". Rumi believed in God and not religion. He also beleived that God was love. I like to quote him as well. He says, "When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you."
