My Elevator Pitch

Hi! I'm Blanche. I'm a writer and a filmmaker but works as an Administrative Assistant in a Local Government Unit here in General Santos City, Philippines. I just started a small group to use films in telling their own stories and educating other people. And I am very optimistic that this small group will become a niche for empowered women filmmakers and storytellers who will break the silence of abused women.

Hello Blanche,

It's so good to hear about more positive impacts in the community done by powerful, empowering female role models such as yourself! I really like your attitude and motivation towards giving minorities and the disadvantaged a voice. Education is the key to change. We are the instruments of change. I look forward to hearing more about your work!

With kindest regards,

Helen Ng

Dear Blanche,

Great pitch! I love your passion and your conviction in the group you are currently building. I also work in a similar area, except that my focus is on girls. And I see why we connect! I would look out for your films and more about your work.

Best wishes,

Hi Blanche, Great pitch! It's simple and to the point and leaves me super curious to hear more :) I agree with some of the other commentators that film is a wonderful medium for reaching other people. I think using films to break the cycle of abuse sounds like a fabulous idea. I look forward to hearing more. All my best wishes, Julia
