Dear Bukola

WOW, you are definitely a lady who has found her purpose. You seem young from your picture but you have achieved a great deal, so well done!

I noticed you said that you like reading and are involved in youth work, have you ever thought about opening up a small space for youth to enjoy reading? So similar to a library but this space might be a space where young people can socialise, meet new friend and enjoy reading. For those younger ones you might even be able to offer help with literacy, reading, writing and so on.

I think reading is a very enjoyable hobby (if I can call it that) and our kids are not encouraged to read as much now (in this digital era) which is shame because reading opens up a new world for all.

Good luck with the future and establishing a successful business, which I am sure you will as you seem very focused and determined to become an entrepreneur.

All the best,

Hoda

Thank you so much for your comment Hoda. Regarding opening a space for youth to read, will see what can be done to create a reading hub and will keep you posted. it really a great idea, really appreciate the fact that you pictured me and suggested something that will help in touching lives of more youth. Gracias Senora

Hi Bukola, it is really great to hear about your transformation from someone timid, into someone engaged in community issues and making the world a better place.  I especially like your commitment to helping youth, and helping them share their voice with the world.  Good job!

Hi Bokorla,

You are one determined lady :-) Nice to see you here encouraging more of us to do good for the community. How many kids are in your Elite club ? And what are the activites of the club? I would love to know. Young minds are so absorbent and you are nurturing them to their fullest potential . Hats off to you ! How do you manage your time multitasking so many activities? Looking forward to hearing from you again :-)

Congratulations on your achievements and Best wishes,

Nikhila

Thank you so much @Nikhila. Really appreciate your kind gesture. Elite Club has about 200 students when I started during my Youth service but after my service I handed over and also a lot of restructuring happen in the state I serve, merging of schools etal ( Osun State) But my NGO is a reflection of what i started in Elite Club. Its called LightUp and we have reached out to 350 youths in rural communities and still counting. For effectiveness and less stress , I delegate most of the work to committed volunteers to handle each state while I oversee most times. Delegation of this work has really made life more easy for me. You can like our page in Facebook :www.facebook.com/LightUpng. Thank you so much.
