Introducing myself and my journal: Truth and the Human Experience

About Me:
I'm 30 years old and from a small town in Oregon. I am like most people in that my life seems full of and made up of a million less than noteworthy experiences none of which I could have become me without, but that don't seem worth telling all the same. It's fair to say I'm very curious in nature and I have a love for the truth. I don't think I have a grasp on what "the truth" is... I think that there are so many individual truths for each person and each human experience. That is one of my favorite things about life, the wonder behind each person's own understanding of life and their existence, the purpose they might stumble upon and the confounding uncertainty of it all. I have a passion for my fellow women and really all those inhabiting this planet. My connection to women comes in from a gratitude for my own position as a woman in this culture and the desire to see all humans have access to safety and choices for themselves in their lives. It just so happens that most who are deprived of these freedoms are women and it's heart-breaking. I hope that in my life I can be a part of a deeper understanding and of change for the better in our world.
