NOT IN THE NAME OF LOVE.

Dear girls and women, I've seen andheardseveral of you who risk it all becausehe will change, so people stop talking, you say?

Womennone of you has to take a beating or emotional torture in the name of love. No man has ever had the right to put their handson you. Marriage is not a certificate of ownership orslavery, its meant to be a safe haven where two people vowed to honor each other. Do not let the community ideologyof bride price corrupt you, your body is not his to turn into a punching bag. The belief that if your husband beats you to show you love is absurd and completely wrong. What he is doing is called is domestic violence and if he can't get help then safest thing to do is to save yourself; Before an undo-able damage occurs. The bible says, Love is not easily angered and it always protects and therefore a violent man knows nothing about love.

Girls you're beautiful as you are and let no one tell you otherwise. You're as perfect as perfect can be; For he who created you, blessed you with uniqueness. Do not permit society to make you change anything about that, whether physically or character-wise. Do not allow people to put you down for the color of your skin, body feature, height or weight. Use what they consider imperfect about you to make a difference and educate them and most especially; Do not let society's opinion hinder your path of excellence.Always know there's no joy in changing for others, let no one limit you on grounds of you being a girl. You're enough and highly capable of achieving the best in life, of making a difference.

Self love and confidence lay the most firm foundation of SUCCESS.

Yes, dear Brianna, there is something called domestic violence, and women should know this has nothing to do with love. If he makes you his punching bag, seek help, because you are some deep shit. Thank you dear for sharing this story.

Yes,no one deserves treatment like that and most of no one should take it. Thank you too, I've grown up anti-domestic violence and watched someone close take it for an unbelievably long time. Women need to understand no marriage constitution supports violence so its okay to leave.

Dear Brianna,

Your words truly touched my heart. I completely agree with you. A man who truly loves, can not hurt his woman. Our girls have to understand this. And I think education is the only way to end this violence.
