MY PERSONAL ASSETS MAP

\"Free
Free Training on Event Decoration for 300 Secondary School Students in Abuja.
\"Comfort
Comfort Sakoma, one of my mentors who inspires me to dare and do more.

I am glad I took an amazing and life changing decision to join Digital Change Making 101.

This exercise is more practical because I found myself drawing out the map and filling answers to each of the 5 boxes in the ‘MY Asset Map’’ and it got me thinking about life and how grateful I am to people who knowingly or unknowingly supported me through my journey in life and am able to get to this point in my life where i am. At a point I got emotional thinking about the many times I failed in life and how I was able to get back on my feet because I had support from people who truly cared and still care for my well being and success in life.

The 3 Assets 1 choose are:

1. Organization and Association: the first picture is me in a training session in Minnesota organized by Service Quality Institute.

I am a Certified Customer Service Trainer (CCST),An Associate Member of Nigeria Institute of Training and Development (NITAD), A Graduate Member of Nigeria Institute of Management and a Gold Member of Poize Media. Joining these groups over time was for me to learn, develop my skills and grow in areas I am weak at. The knowledge I acquired as a result of my membership has gone along way to ensuring that I build a future for myself and this has helped me broaden my knowledge, skills, career path and helped me grow my business. I have a sense of belonging and this has made me focus on where I want to be and also carry others along and work in a team.

2. Personal Skills: The second picture is a Free Training Session on Event Decoration for 300 Secondary School students organized by Indelible in Abuja, Nigeria.

I am currently rounding up on my M.Sc International Relations in Nasarawa State University. I have a B.Sc in Sociology. I have Presentation skills, Facilitation skills, Listening skills and event management, planning/decoration skills, digital Marketing skills, I manage Beee Sparkles Events. All I want to do is learn and keep learning because learning is fun and it never ends. I am proud to facilitate training (Train). Based on the knowledge gap in digital skills I attended a training organized by Poize Media and Intel on Digital skills and I am working to start a FREE training for WOMEN Entrepreneurs on Digital Skills to help them know the basis, grow their business and to encourage those who are yet to start a business start one.

I was opportune to be a facilitator who volunteered for Indelible to train 300 Secondary School Students in Abuja, Nigeria. The students where so passionate and filled with zeal to learn. i was filled with joy in my heart that it was a successful training and i learned a lot from them because i made sure the session was interactive.

3. Relationships: The third picture is one of my mentor Comfort Sakoma.

My parent and my husband have helped me navigate experiences in life and have stood by me through thick and thin and are still supportive of my dreams. I love them so much.

I once told my husband that if I happen to find myself on a hot seat like “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” TV program I would call him to bail me to the next level. He is very brilliant and have solutions to every thing. He listens and supports, doesn’t laugh at my ideas and he corrects me, same as my parent. Also I am not afraid or ashamed to share my fears with him, because he has got my back. When I told him about the Free training I intend to organize and how I need him to support me, he was quick to say “What do you need to make this happen” I thank God for him and may God continue to bless him as my husband, my son’s father and also as my Friend and mentor. My parent taught me to be empathetic and to love and care for others.

Of recent i added one more mentor to the list. Her name is Comfort Sakoma the founder of Poize Magazine and Poize Media. i have attended 3 Free training organized by Poize Media with Comfort in attendance. Without her knowing the impact of her speeches in my life which has helped me know how to grow my business and also stay focus. I joined the Poize Gold Membership to stay top of my game and i also joined Poize book club to enable me connect to other women and to keep reading and learning. She inspires me to do more. I admire her a great deal.
