She is a widow

She became a widow when she was at the age of 44 and with seven children. In this situation, she decided there and then that she would not remarry. She made this decision not because she liked being alone for the rest of her life or because she did not need a helper to take care of those children.
She made this decision because she did not want to compound her problem. Any man she marries again would want his own children from her. Since she had seven already, she thought it was not wise to go into having more children.
The journey began, the journey of training and taking care of seven children on her own with just petty trading.Few years after, the first daughter gratuated from school. It then made the two of them join hands together to train the other children.
The husband left nothing before he died. They had no roof on their heads and no property at all. The first daughter nearly went into prostitution to be able to help the mother to train the other children. When others around this unique woman were building houses, eating good food, she kept on building her chilren, wearing rags and eating what was available. She was ridiculed and suffered so much in the community that believed strongly that she should have remarried.
Twenty-one years after, she is still in a rented single room apartment. Thank God those children, putting hands together, are now planning to build a small house of her own for her.
She is a unique creature
She is wonderful
She is my mother
