THE EXIT OF A POWER HOUSE

I met her for the first time at the World Pulse meet up in 2016! A gentle and wonderful soul Full of life. Since then we had bonded as Sisters. Her vision was to have an orphanage and empowerment of young girls and women against sexual and domestic violence. She was able to build the orphanage and many orphans still there right now. She has another office in one of the most terrible slums in Lagos where she has empowered many girls and women. We keep sharing our strength and struggle in the cause of work to rid our country and society of the menace of sexual and domestic violence. Two years ago, we became closer as I invited her to join the team of scaling IMAGINE program in Nigeria. She completed the training and she was waiting to be certified in July when death came suddenly. My dear Sister, you have lived a worthy life even though you went too soon, your legacy shall remain forever.  You fought a great battle as a committed comrade and power house. Death has no power over you because your victory in Christ is certain.

Rest on Comrade!!

Till we meet to part no more, we will miss you! This world will miss you! Good night Sister Aramide Praise Oikelome!!
