I am just one woman, but I can change the world a little at a time. I can say it like it is, but with compassion and empathy. I have experienced a lot of heartache, some joy, but have learned the most from my two disabled brothers as well as the children with whom I work. Each day I make it a priority to be grateful for at least one thing, look for ways to be there for someone else, and try to not drink too much coffee. World Pulse has drawn me in like no other organization has. I am grateful to be a part of this thriving community, and excitement fills me when I look to the future. I am not only willing, but deeply desire to be an intregal part of what is happening here. I am abundantly grateful for the connections and relationships formed here which have given me new life. I love making connections and really getting to know a person. I can find as much joy in laying on the sunny beach as I can in gardening in the dirt. Even though I fall short in many ways, I know I can do anything because I've stared a solid granite peak in the face and climbed to the top. I have many scars and bruises from the climb, but the view is worth the effort. Learn from the past, be aware of the future, yet fully present in this moment. Peace and Hope! Relationships and Communication. The rest is just details. I am passionate about relating through singing/songwriting, piano, music, rockclimbing, hiking, children of all types, and justice. Anxiety and Expectations of Self. Connection as the foundation of everything else: Early Child Language, Development, and Behavior; Feeding Therapy; Piano and Vocal Music; and Making a great cup of coffee!
That even the least of these will be heard!
