  • Many women/girls today have become the pillars of their homes. They work day and night to provide for their families, and many a times what is earned is barely enough to suffice for the belly, talk less of having enough to provide school needs.
  • My vision for this year is economic empowerment  geared towards self reliance.  As follow up to this, two women have been sponsored to participate in a craft workshop which will walk them through crafting slippers, purses, bangles, earrings which will enable them run their own small business

Dear Caroline,
How great to see you here, standing so strongly for women to have access to money. In this world built these days on a system that is built on freedom and survival being dependent on money, finding ways for women to be financially independent and able to sustain our lives, is critically important. Congratulations, may this plan flourish for many.

Hello Beth, thank your encouragement. Giving back to other women is the best comfort we can get in this gender-biased society

Dear Anita, I greatly appreciate your supportive words. I tell you that the feedback I received from the participants have motivated me to work even harder in order to provide similar opportunities to others. One at a time, we shall get there.
