Radio Interview: Make Girls Voices Count

Carolyn Seaman
Posted September 29, 2016 from Nigeria

This was an exciting experience sharing about my digital action campaign, 'Make Girls Voices Count'. It was a particularly exciting radio interview because I was sharing this shortly after World Pulse announced me as one of the three winners of the World Pulse Voices of Our Future Award.

Also important was the fact that I was conducting this interview in the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), which is the national radio station where the 'Make Girls Voices Count' campaign would be aired over a 3-month period.

I get passionate as usual as I share the goal of this Campaign to teach girls to use their voices to mobilize community action towards girls' empowerment.

Happy viewing....

Dear Hannah,

Thank you for your kind comments to my post.

The project has been progressing gradually, but great. We have successfully delivered 2 girl workshops and we have been recording girls' stories.

Next, we plan to launch the radio and social media campaign #MakeGirlsVoicesCount soonest.

And I will share full updates on the project when we are completed.

I sincerely apologize for my late response to your warm comments.

Love,
