I Nominate Tamarack Verrall for the World Pulse Spirit Awards

Mama Tam as we fondly call her is the true model of a sisterhood builder. Mama Tam embodies the World Pulse Spirit in everything she does and I am constantly inspired by her life and work. 

I most appreciate how Mama Tam embodies the World Pulse Spirit and how she empowers other women to coalesce together to catalyse social change in our world. Mama Tam is consistently sharing global opportunities with the World Pulse community so sisters can coalesce to strengthen feminist principles and advance gender equality in our world. Mama Tam is a champion encourager on World Pulse and she continues to model her signature welcome and encouragement to so many sisters in the World Pulse community. Mama Tam connects World Pulse sisters and uses her social media platform to celebrate other World Pulse sisters, amplifying their work on every platform she can use. 

Mama Tam is one of the first World Pulse members to welcome me and support me to get comfortable in my voice in the World Pulse community. She has and continues to share my organisations' work on her social media platform consistently appraising our work and celebrating the World Pulse spirit in our sisters and our various works. Mama Tam had an opportunity to visit and speak with women who were cohorts of one of the Global Change Leaders diploma programs at the Coady Institute, she passionately shared about me and my organisation's work to the ladies from my country who returned home to find me and connect with me. Those ladies are World Pulse members today and this is a true testament of the World Pulse Spirit that Mama Tam exudes in all that she does. Last November, Mama Tam opened up an amazing opportunity for World Pulse Ambassadors to share about World Pulse and our individual initiatives at the 16 Days of Activism Virtual Conference organised by the Eagles Bloom Hope. World Pulse Women spoke over 4 days of the 16 Days Conference. My organisation was featured for a whole day and our girls took the floor to share their achievements during the 16 Days of Activism and other initiatives to end violence against girls and women. And they learned a lot from the intergenerational dialogue at the conference. I am so blessed to know and experience Mama Tam.
