How Can I Help Your Application for the Techwomen Program?

I am a Techwomen Fellow who was blessed to experience the Techwomen Program in 2017. You can read the highlights of my Techwomen experience here. The Techwomen program helps emerging women leaders in the STEM industry to build their skills and expertise. The 5 weeks program exposes you to a combination of leadership workshops, a mentorship program where you are immersed in top tech companies in the Silicon Valley and learning sessions at the US Department of State. Throughout the program, you are paired with professional and cultural mentors, as well as impact coaches who support your experience closely. Together, the robust experience of the Techwomen program equips you to build capacity to infuse innovation into your work back home. If you are passionate about working in the STEM industry or are already actively working or volunteering in the STEM space, the Techwomen Program will give you that revolutionary experience to transform your work in your community. The Techwomen program is open to applicants from Africa, Central and South Asia, and the Middle East.

I celebrate my Sister Ana Isabel who shared the Techwomen call for applications. I encourage you to read her post with the call for applications and consider putting in your application. I am happy to provide advice to World Pulse women applying for the Techwomen Program. I can share tips on what Techwomen is looking for in your application. I was considering hosting a Zoom session to share these tips and answer any questions that can support you in filling out your application. I will host the Zoom event at the request of those who want it. So, please, feel free to request that Zoom event if you want it and we can make it happen for April 16th, 2021 so you still have time to edit your applications before you turn them in. Please, note the deadline is May 5th, 2021. Sending you best wishes and looking forward to celebrating World Pulse women at Techwomen 2022!
