Mentorship program

Menstruation Hygien

Every thursdays ,Catherine Djiemo Foundation runs a mentorship program in secondary schools in Buea, Tiko and Kumba. We focus on information sharing on SRHR,GBV,Entrepreneurship and Sterotypes on disabilities.

Each session we get to met more than 30 kids in ages 10 years and above. Our volunteers used drama and traditional plays to educate our kids.

We teach our visiting kids the power to speak through retroric and peotry. Dance and drumming is used during our sessions to relax the kids and release stress and part of what weights them dowm before they got to us. While with us ,kids are sure to get a meal.

A meal is a life saver for many girls and boys who risk sexual expliotatiin in exchange for food. We are identifying a need for free food as an intervention to keep girls in schools. Our project Food4education will be our next goal.

We are excited for what is ahead of us and most especially thankfull for those that have been with us on this journey. Gratitude is my Attitude .
