Women power is a global tool of empowerment

Hello Everyone,

I am thrilled to write our first journal on this incredible network of World Pulse and get connected to the wonderful people all over the globe.
The basic idea to start Centre for Women Development (CWD) in Jammu and Kashmir state was to bridge the disparity where the ratio of men versus women voices was 'unequal' and for that reasons were countless. We found that in every sphere of life women generally don't represent their voices due to which they continue to get what they are being provided instead of looking out for their choices, but now slowly the trend is changing and there are women now who are actively participating in their areas of interest and thus they are actually doing good. However, still there is a lot to be done for a revival of women empowerment, especially at the grass-root level.
So, we at CWD firmly believes that, "You can't let other people tell you who you are. You have to decide that for yourself"...
We are focused to create a viable environment through positive economic and social steps so that each unique voice of women is given an equal representation. We also want to utilize education as a key tool to empowerment of women along with establishing a high-level corporate leadership for gender equality. Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of all women workers is also our area of interest.
promote education, training and professional development for women.
Besides this, we would like to implement enterprise development, supply chain and marketing practices that empower women so that we can promote equality through community initiatives and advocacy and thus measure and publicly report on progress to achieve gender equality...
“A woman is the full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform.” ~Diane Mariechild
