Challenges faced by girls/women in my community

My community has been striken by the ongoing crisis in my country for three years now. The agricultural activities of girls/women have been disrupted as they are mostly in hiding coupled with limited access to land this has led to hardship and poverty on this girls/women  as they can't afford  basic necessities electrictricity and access to health facilities due to the disruption of their means of survival.

Girls are faced with Insecurity as they are victims of Physical molestation  by  those armed with weapons that gang raped girls, beaten up and disgrace publicly.

Lack of capital to set up small businesses to support themselves and families due to the no flow of activities as a result of the crisis.

The Fomo project is sensitising and encouraging girls through interactive  workshops on how to deal with trauma by bringing in medical personals as some have lost hope of living.

And organising agricultural training with the help of veterinary and agricultural techinicians. To set our agricultural shop to supply improved seeds and tools as well as feed since farming has been a means of survival so that rural girls and women can have access easily to it.

Promoting and teaching respect of human rights making them to know we girls are equal as men.
