Life can be a struggle. Whatever you're struggling with,it helps to hear words of encouragement that reminds us that we all take knocks in life, but the best things in life comes through persistence.

My name is Chinedu Amarachi Ogbodo, a second year Law Student in Enugu State University ,from the Easthern part of Nigeria.

There's a lot of injustice that is being metted out on women. The affluent and the intelligentsia in my country upholds partriarchy in the highest esteem thereby trampling on the right of women.

Let every woman look out not for her own interests, but for the interest of others.

As sisters, let's lend our voice to gender equality.

Hello, Chinedu,

Welcome to World Pulse! It is such a joy that another voice from Nigeria is rising up! Wow, you are studying to become a lawyer. That is a great career, especially that I can see how you want to uphold justice for women.

I love this: Let every woman lookout not for her own interests, but for the interest of others.

Please keep on posting. I'm looking forward to reading more about your journey. I hope you can form connections with our sisters here, too. By the way, I'm curious how did you learn about World Pulse.

Thank you ma'am.
The subject of law interests me significantly. I am intrigued by the development in legal system and the way that it adapts to our ever- changing society.
The thought of engaging in Law crossed my mind when I examined the unruly babaric strategies and a bunch of women and girls who suffer in some parts of the globe, predominantly Africa!
The knowledge of Law will provide me with an expanded insights into the Human Rights Law , Customary Laws cum historical and traditional bias against the exercise of Rights by women and girls,in favour of men and boys .
Thus, becoming a lawyer will aid me in becoming fully involved in the struggle for Women's Human Rights.
I believe that completing this course (Law) will definitely help me in achieving my goal to forward my future in the struggle for Women's Rights.
