Mental Wellness, A Safe Space that helps us Become who we are destined to be

Women often carry heavy burdens each day, this takes a negative toll on someone both emotionally and physically. This is to say that, mental wellness is key if we are to compete with men in the struggle to make ends meet. One cannot pour from an empty cup, therefore self care is really important if we are to be strong enough to take up all that life throws at us each day.

The patriarchal society that we live in, expects women to play subordinate roles which is not the cse. Women as the architects of society possess amazing skills that help innovate the everyday needs. Balancing for better means that we shall take on equal roles as men in organization. We posses similar skills as men and therefore, we shall give our best when given responsibility.

In conclusion, women should be treated with utmost respect and dignity. Their rights should be upheld at all times. Having a healthy mind will help one concentrate in uplifting the society.

Happy International Women's day!!!

Totally agree and women have the amazing ability to focus and contribute on anything we put our minds to and do it with pride, panache, and accomplishment. Just dive in. Nice write-up.

Hello, Christine,

I know a lot of women who suffer from mental illness because of unbelievable demands from society. I agree, we need to take care of our mental wellbeing, too. That’s the only way we can function better and serve our damily and community.

Thank you for sharing!
