I KNOW THE RAPIST

It is easy to say 'She is a victim' but it is hard to say 'He is the Rapist'. Sometimes i asked myself, why is that? Again, i realised oh, is it because the rapist are our fathers, uncles, brothers, and sons? We need to know the rapist just like we know the victims and bring them to justice no matter who they are. I am not a woman in the outside but I am a woman in the inside. If I was not fortunate to see my mother does not mean i should not fight to see the future of our women and children regardless the fact that my voice is small, my hand is short ad my pocket is silent, my passion to protect women and girls will not be a graveyard. I am brining up a community anti rape campaign called' Report To Stop Rape' with the aim of raising awareness on issues affecting our women and girls in Sierra Leone and to as well translate the 2019 Sierra leone Sexual Offences amendment Act  to nine local languages to enable local people who cannot speak and understands Krio or English and what is in the acts to understand it so that they can pass the information to their children.
