I KNOW THE RAPISTS PART 2

Story
Hello all, this is 'I KNOW THE RAPISTS PART 2' my team #FutureLeadersInititaiveSL is still on the fight against rape and sexual violence against women, girls and children. I and my team are working on a six months community anti rape campaign titled 'REPORT TO STOP RAPE'[ Repot Fo Tape Rape in Krio]
The aim of the campaign is to encourage survivors to report rape rather than keeping silent and living with the terrible personal, psychological and health consequences - such as post-traumatic shock syndrome, sexually-transmitted disease, unwanted pregnancy, shame and stigmatisation.
Reporting rape and sexual assault not only gets immediate help and on-going support for survivors, it also helps the police get justice for them and protects others in the community by stopping the perpetrators from offending again.
Currently in Sierra Leone rape is dealt with mainly as a family issue: it is often unreported, hushed-up, for fear of shame and stigmatisation, we are saying a big NO to this. We have ended the first phase which is community schools awareness raising, remaining of two phases, Parents2Parents, Children2Children workshop and Talk To Your Child [ Tok to Yu Pikin in Krio] Radio and TV program. My team and I want to do more but we do not have financial support. Please WorldPulse family, this is our fight, I am kindly asking for your little support, for a relatively small amount of money the message REPORT TO STOP RAPE (Repot Fo Tap Rape) can be spread to rural communities across Sierra Leone so that survivors can access the support, medical services and legal action they desperately need.
