Samuel's supermarket for the poor

12 years ago I met Samuel

He helps a lot of poor people in ukunda en Shamu Kenya

He had a small shop where he was making suits for men and school uniforms for the children at low price. When we start working together on Shamu land that we as foundation buy to learn the rural people how to work on the land to create a small income , we decided to open a small supermarket for the poor. Lots of people were struggling to buy 2 kg of sima flour or tea and more basic things.

Now they can buy small portions and fresh greens from the land so we can use part of that income to buy seeds and other things that are needed on Shamu land. if school uniforms are needed or men suits they can order in our shop too.

We were happy that it worked more people came and we also start learning some people hoe to run a small shop so they can do it in there aria.

Now we look for sponsors that can help us open a new shop in ukunda so also the poor there can learn and buy small portions, we already found a shop but its not finished jet its new near houses , no supermarket for the poor in that area, they are in big need.

Let us help the poor growth.
