Relief Distribution: RC Metro San Pedro team up with the Philippine Navy in relief distribution in Bicol Province last November 2020 (1/2)

The first week of the year is almost gone. We all experienced a subdued New Year celebration, and everything seems the same, or maybe worst. But that is not what I wanted to talk about.

Before the year ended, I made plans, or some people made plans for me on what I will do in 2023 ... yeah! I arrived baby

This blog is not a rant; it is my way of saying "thank you" to the people that made that for me. For nominating me to be the Club President two years from now.

In this life, we have to always be thankful even for the small wins we achieve every day. And this is one of them.

Dear Sis Coolasas,
It's always good to be grateful for all the achievements that one always acquires and also always good to focus on what to achieve. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Coolasas,
Wow, this is quite an honor and commitment. And so far ahead. I wish you clarity in preparedness for the road ahead. I wish you decisiveness in putting priorities into order. And I wish you flexibility if and when changes in plans arise. I wish you tolerance with everyone you have to deal with. I wish you patience with yourself in dealing with all the obstacles that may try to block your path. And I wish you continued gratitude for all that you receive.
Best of luck in this future endeavor!
JoMarie

Hello, Miss D,

Thanks, Karen
It's good to be considered even though I know it's likely to happen. when it finally does, it still gives you the feeling of gratitude and trepidations at the same time, knowing that you're part of something bigger than you.
Cheers

Dear Coolasas,
Wow that is what you call planning ahead! It makes me wonder how Covid-19 ripple effect in society will shape the issues you will be tackling at the helm of your leadership in two years, and how the priorities to respond to might significantly change in the space between now and then.
It is wonderful that you can morph with the cultural and socio-economic shifts that will prepare you for the most impactful execution of your leadership, even in absentia, the world is in your fingertips (barring for betrayal by power outages haha)
All the best when the time comes, wherever you will be circling the globe!

Hi Nina,
Two years seems too far off, but when we're busy, time flies very fast, and I guess we will know when the day comes how the pandemic had rearranged all our lives.
Leadership roles don't have to be done alone, and it's how you bring everybody together to achieve the most of what needs to be done. I believe my club members now and in the future are reliable on that front- we soldier together regardless of where we are in the world.
Thanks again.
Cheers,
Coolasas
