EL ALTO

I would like to share a bit about El Alto in Bolivia. El Alto is the city where I live. It is about 3400 high. The airport is here, so all the people that comes to La Paz, gets to know a bit from El Alto.
Because of the altitude, people that comes from sea level used to suffer from what we call \"Sorojchi\". Sorojchi is an aymara word which means headache.
El Alto, is city which has been quickly growing because of the continuos migration from rural areas. This produces a lot of difficulties to the people because of the lack of water, electricity, adequate roads and other public services in some of the neighborhoods.
