Launching HappyWorld Peace & Green Village

Launching HappyWorld Peace & Green Village The creation of this organization is a dream come true for me because I always wanted to serve my community especially with the current challenges.I received a story award for this article in late 2017:       https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.worldpulse.com%2Fen%2Fv...                                                          .After publications I received alot of comments from encouragers who advised me to create an organisation considering the fact that we had serious political crisis because of poor management of the French and English system in Cameroon. This is an article I published when the idea came up: https://www.worldpulse.com/community/users/dama2nv/posts/88300. I finally got my legal documents from my administration in February and then I planned for the launching party which took place on the 24th March 2019. The program for the ceremony was as follows: PROGRAMME:     1:00 – 1:25pm: Introduction of ceremony •    Prayer •    Explanation of “HAPPY WORLD” Peace & Green Village     1:25 – 1:30pm: Music Break (DJ)     1:30 – 2:00pm: Presentation on preventing violence and extremism •    2:00 – 2:15pm: Questions and answers     2:15 – 2:30: Music Presentation by KOWAN OFFICIEL     2:30 – 3:00PM: Presentation on Gender Equality, World Pulse and Women’s March Bamenda •    3:00 – 3:15PM: Question and answer     3:15 – 3:20PM:Music Break(DJ)     3:20 – 3:50PM: Presentation on a Green lifestyle VEGANISM •    3:50 – 4:05PM: Question and answer session     4:05 – 4:15PM: Plan of action for HAPPY WORLD and the way forward     4:15 – 4:30PM: Pictures     4:30 to 5:30PM: Vegan LUNCH!!!!!!!!!!     5:30 – 5:45PM: Presentation of gifts to guests     5:45 – 6:00PM: Closing song(Heal the world by Micheal Jackson)  and closing remarks  It was a ceremony with cultural decorations to showcase our grassroots culture of the North West region of Cameroon. We had 3 major presentations which are topics that are in line with a few our objectives: 1)    Preventing violence and extremism by Ngwa Damaris (Womens March Bamenda Chapter Ambassador, World Pulse Ambassador and CEO of HappyWorld Peace and Green Village) 2)    Veganism and a Green Life Style by Muchoh Florence(World Pulse & Womens March Bamenda chapter community member) and Amancho Joel 3)    Gender equality, World pulse and Womens March Bamenda by Ngwa Damaris (Womens March Bamenda Chapter Ambassador, World Pulse Ambassador and CEO of HappyWorld Peace and Green Village), Ateh Evelyn (Womens March Bamenda Chapter member) Veronica Ndi (World Pulse Ambassador) It was an interactive discussion where invitees were encouraged to participate by giving their opinions and asking questions. Talking on Gender equality, we educated invitees on the advantages of Gender equality and the various ways of empowering the woman. We introduced them to safe platforms of speaking out especially as we are affected by the current violence and conflict that’s going on in our community. We encouraged invitees to join World Pulse and Womens March as these are sister organizations that we will be working with to achieve our objective of gender equality We had a vegan/nonalcoholic diet for lunch and presented gifts to our invitees. We gave out strategies and activities on how this organization will function. As a girl affected by conflict and eagerly waiting for a change, this is my story, this is a story for change .All thanks to World pulse for bringing the best out of me. I am doing things I never thought I could do because I thought I was a girl.As a current World Pulse ambassador, i promise to work tiredlessly in the fight for gender equality by lifting up the voices of women in my commuinity. This is my story for a girl who has been empowered and her dreams have come true.
