She cares a lot about the preservation of human rights and non violent for every one.
Jackie is a middle aged woman, born in lapaz and later moved to talija 13 years ago in the same country. She is happily married, a mother of two boys aged 23 and25 as while as an 11 year old girl.
“ I have gone to school really late, after my son turned four, when I decided could speak well enough to tell me if he had been mistreated by the nun” she says.
Although Jackie got married too early, culture in her country does not restrict a woman to acquire education but rather imposes a lot of more work for women. She is now a career woman with a BS in Business administration, two post graduate education and other in local government through gender equality.
I had really a bad marriage, and the father of my first two kids was very violet to my kids, so I learnt first hand what violence at home can be like and wants to stop it. She narrated.
Her motivation in life is to help women realize their dreams; she encourages women to go for what they want in life and to go to school before they get married.
