I have always been a people person. My mom used to call me her ambassador of good will because I was outgoing and could always put a smile on people’s faces.
My passion is helping others. I’m a humanitarian at heart.
I am a survivor of rape, domestic assault and a short stint at being homeless. I am the mother of 4 amazing girls and grandmother of 2 beautiful granddaughters. I want to make the world a better place, so my girls never have to go through what I have.
For a while I lost my power. My drive. My inner strength. It took some time to find it and now that I have it back I refuse to give it up again. I’ve taught my children to use their voice, stand up for their rights and beliefs. Never back down.
I want to do the same for others.
For several years, I’ve had a dream calling to me, nagging at my core. It’s a dream to help empower women.
So I took a leap of faith and created Daring Woman...
My vision is to build a safe haven for women to come and share their stories of inspiration, heartache, love, wisdom and experience.
I need voices. Women who have words of wisdom to share with our network.
I have been an entrepreneur for 10 years. I have good business sense as well as empowerment skills.
