Inspired Women Paying it Forward

Inspired Women Paying it Forward is a Philanthropic Networking organization with four chapters in PIttsburgh, PA.   We meet at one-hour, quarterly meetings with only a $100 commitment going to the winning, voted upon recipient. Members can nominate their favorite Women’s non-profit locally and globally for a chance to win up to $10,000! To date we have awarded over $300,000 to grassroots non-profits all over the world. These monies can be life-changing.

Having lived in Iran for several years before the revolution in the late 70's ,  I was introduced to women under veil.  It would be a defining moment  in my life.  The events in Afghanistan bring to the forefront of just \"why\" we must have solidarity with our sisters living in an oppressive society. They may not have laws or governments or neighbors or churches to assist them, but we can give them HOPE and funding. I always say a woman's worst day in the United States, is infinitely better than a woman's best day in many parts of the world. Sister Zeph in Pakistan has been one of our ongoing recipients since our beginning.

Any time we take positive action, there's a ripple effect for Good. After 7 years, we are poised to assist any like-minded women who might desire to open a chapter in their area. If you are retired it's  a great way to give back. If you are working, it's always good for people to meet you based on shared values, rather than the typical networking organizations.  Have a couple of girlfriends who are just as passionate about helping women?
