My husband never had time for me, ever since we were married he changed overnight. He was always criticising and belittling me. I always got my dose of silent treatment atleast thrice per week. At that point in time I turned to my high school hobby... writing. Writing was such a release...it kept me engaged for so long. I stopped staring at the door waiting for him. I stopped waiting for him to come and speak to me. I was speaking volumes to my diary and notepad, jotting down my thoughts and enlacing them with heartfelt emotions.
One fine day I got the idea to put forwards my quotes and poems on social media. That's when I created my Page on facebook. My words were now reaching more people from my Page. Earlier I was struggling for one person's attention, now my voice was heard by thousands, and liked, shared and commented too.
It's you ladies who decide your fate. If you put the reigns of your self-esteem in a toxic man's hand, he will pull it in such a way that you become his slave, both emotionally and physically. But if you put your best feet forward, no matter how hard toxic people try they won't be able to influence you, and without influence there is no manipulation. Without manipulation, there is no co-dependence.
