My dream

Dhambri Ikram
Posted June 21, 2019 from Tunisia

My name is Ikram.

I a m from Tunisia. My life has never been pink. I was always fighting for the right of women .. even my rights. My husband saw that the place of the woman is at home. Between pots and the rising of the children. I have abandoned my dreams forc21 years of marriage. After my husband died of cancer, I took charge of my life ... several certificates of merit and approval from several NGOs

A Doctorate certificate.

Nominated Amdassador of peace.

Proud of the woman .that I am.

Hi Ikram,
Welcome to World Pulse! What tenacity you have, holding onto your belief in the rights of women and soaring into what you have been dreaming to do for so long. How wonderful that you have managed to achieve so much already, no doubt at times a daunting amount of work that you have succeeded. Big congratulations and may your pride continue to flourish.
In sisterhood,
Tam

Dear Dahmbri,
Great to read your story. You are the first Tunisian I've seen on World Pulse and in fact, the first one I've met. It is amazing you turned your life around from being a wife focused on the home and family to being nominated Ambassador for Peace and have attained doctorate degree. Life gives us second chances and I admire you for grabbing that opportunity to pursue your interests . I am proud of you, too. Keep on writing.
Hugggs.
