I wish I could find it for 'Atishang Khora' A co-operative that has about 3years now operating,it deals with layers(laying chickens) and provide eggs to our local businesses at a lower prices.It has 12 members who are very much dedicated to their work.I saw their potential when I decided to go n volunteer working with them during lockdown and what made me said is that they don't get any pay and they actually need more staff and unfortunately they can't get staff because they have nothing to give them,the money they get from selling eggs,they use it to buy foods for chickens,pay for transport costs,buy medications for chickens and to attend workshops and they save some.

Get Involved

They can use it to expand their business by buying more chickens, building and renovating their place and employ youth.

Hello Dikarabo,

That's so nice that you're looking out for these hard workers. How do you propose to fundraise for them, though? Do you know one of the owners and you would give them the money? If people are interested, how would you like them to contact you, through the World Pulse messenger system, for instance?

Friendly reminders:
1. Browse similar posted needs (open and closed ones) to discover what they have in common with yours and how you can improve your "pitch" = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and attests usually required from an organization like yours) in case of donations or grants;
3. Start moving ahead = write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and get ready to spend the resources when they arrive;
4. Do not wait to find an offer and then start writing your proposal/project. Start now!!!
5. DonĀ“t forget to visit the World Pulse website >>> My Pulse >>> Resources and use its filters (right upper corner) to find offers that may suit your current need;
6; Share the opportunities that may not apply to you but can interest others;
7. Spread the word about your failures and achievements in grant/donations requests.
Yes, tell these stories too... They will enlighten and inspire your network.
