                   Distribution of 350 Hygiene Kits in Isgow School Banadir District Somalia

12-18 on February-2021 we distributed 350 Hygiene and sanitation Kit 250 girls and 100 boys between aged 22-13 years’ old. The Kit contains (hair Oil and Shampoo, Soap, Comp, Tampons or Pads, underwear).

As all know the hygiene is very important in every society especially girls and boys aged 22-13 years the live is a hygiene sanitation in our country the people are struggling daily live and adapted the explosion and hungry while young girls and boys are going to the schools to educate.

This small project was benefited 400 students our target was young girls and boys in the school to encourage the education, after distributions the kits the situation was very good and lovely I discussed more girls and they told me that their family can’t bought the Tampons because of the low income family.

oil and shampoo I will use for hair, body and clothing soaps, I love Tampons I have been using my old worn of cloths but now I have 6 months to use, I am requesting all women organizations worldwide to provide us this kit for every six months this KIT. Said Sahra Ahmed aged 18 Years Student girl.

The other thing that they told us the girls that the during the 7 days of the period they are feeling very stressful for fearing to see blood or come out lack of the tampons. I have been using Oomo for bath my hair now I must wash shampoo said zamza hassan aged 16 years old. The Omoo normally in the country we are using washing utensils not for hair while ZamZam was using washing hair.

3-Who told you to distribute the girls this KIT because we need this kit and can’t ask our fathers this Kit?!
