Community empowerment in Momo Division

Menstrua

We dream of a world where “No one is left behind“… a world where “No More limits“ are set on girls menstruating, a world where we strive to succeed in realising the SDG Goals No (3) Good health and wellbeing,  ( SDG4) quality education (SDG5) gender equality.  How can make in difference in someone’s  live. How we can give back to our community though education and sensitisation. How we can fight the cultural stigma and taboos associated with Menstruation thereby unlocking negative social norms?

In doing so the Cnvfoundation chose to break the silence and raise awareness about Menstrual Hygiene management this Year in Acha-Tugi. Mbengwi- Momo-Division, North West Province of Cameroon where we discovered how Women and girls have little or no access to safe hygiene products.
