Poverty

Poverty has led many girls into what they did not like to be. It is what I have experienced in life and I know how terrible it is. Although I endured the tests, not all girls can do the same.

Some girls lack food, clothing, shelter, and good education.

I am Adesewa, I want to do my best to feed girls around me, give them clothes to wear, and provide shelter for them

Hello Adesewa,
You have a beautiful smile :) Welcome to the sisterhood. How wonderful that you have a heart full of love and kindness for underprivileged girls around you. It is true that poverty immobilizes us in so many ways, steals our dreams and sets us on a painful path we never chose. Besides the basic needs, education and economic skills help lift girls and women out of poverty. Good on you for your resilience through your trials, and you can be a voice and vision for girls who might want to give up.
I celebrate your making it this far with you, and pray that you continue to grow and be a blessing to others!
