Changemaking resources

Since the inception of the organisation, I have backed it with personal resources. I availed one of my own personal properties, pictured, to be used as an empowerment center for women. I also donated funds for empowerment workshops, girls support units, two vehicles and allowances for volunteers. In addition, I provided funding for the organization's website www.wefsa.org.

Dear Edinah,

The more I read about you and your work the more I recognize the depth and breadth of your courage to break through current barriers and prejudices, and the more I see the effectiveness of your strong messages through your work as a journalist. I hope that your website is reaching far and wide in your country. To read that you have been generating your own resources and putting everything you can into your work for the empowerment of women and girls, I know that I have met and am able to be in touch with a true sister who feels the urgency to her bones and is willing to dedicate her life to the emancipation of women. This is what I love about World Pulse. I hope that you feel surrounded by others who feel the same way. Your dedication creates hope and cause for celebration.

In sisterhood,

Tam
