Facilitating digital changemaking workshop

My facilitation for the digital change making workshop wasn't what I wanted but what I could get. I had planned a larger event but unforeseen events led to the inability to use the booked venue and as a result, I gathered a few of my friends, 6 to be precise, for a dinner meeting and we talked and laughed after which I introduced them to World Pulse.

The focus of my meeting was ( because I realized my friends are a potential group of voracious consumers of stories on women as they are curious about learning from worlds outside of their own) mostly on how to use the site, navigating it and responding to stories of their interest.

In hindsight, I should have planned it as an informal event like the way I hosted it as opposed tothe big event which brought with it venue challenges.

The aim of the workshop was to introduceWorld Pulse and to explain the concept of how it works; that the stories riveting to read but are all real and do highlight the different social, economic, political, academic and other issues that plague women from around the world.
