This year, even before the lockdown , I made up my mind to shift the focus of my practice as a behavior specialist more to the online space.
Last year, sometime in October, I was invited as a guest in a radio program that aired in EBS a government radio station in Benin city, Nigeria to speak on the issue of gender based violence and to talk about the upcoming commemoration of the yearly international day for the elimination of violence against women which kicststarts the 16 days of activism against gender based violence . This program was partly sponsored by Norad
This year I was selected by World pulse to speak in a webinar to commemorate the international day for the elimination of violence against women. I have also created awareness in my Facebook group, Pidgin English Nation which comprises of 972 members on the subject.
Prior to the Nov 25, event I announced a free 1:1 Zoom session in my various social media platforms for females who are in physically or emotionally abusive relationships. This session will help to give clarity in areas that may be a bit confusing within their relationship and it will also provide the necessary behaviour focused steps to help participants take crucial decisions.
