Daring to rise

By Shirley Asiedu-Addo

It is time to rise We have paid enough price Moans and cries. Hidden because you dare not cry. You can only sigh. And brace the sheer hell of being the other one. The curves and grace does not shut out intelligence.

It is time to rise. We have aid too tough to rise No more cries. You can go high I hear the shattering of glass.  The ceiling came tumbling. Its no gambling. Now we dare to rise because it's time to rise.
